Elk jaar nodigt SIW een vrijwilliger van één van onze zusterorganisaties uit om ervaring bij ons op te doen. Dit jaar was Svetlana uit Kirgizië bij ons te gast. Lees hieronder haar verslag: Live is a path full of lessons, ups and downs, and great opportunities. Since an early age, I have been dedicated to learn something new and share information with my parents, friends, and relatives. To get my first professional experience, I decided to become a volunteer at the Youth Volunteer Organization “Leadership”, Kyrgyzstan. It is a non-profit organization which brings young volunteers from small Karakol Town together. This summer we had amazing chance from SIW to send one volunteer to take internship in Holland and it was more amazing for me because I was nominated from Youth Volunteer Organization “Leadership” to take internship in the Netherland. The Netherland quite different from my home country, so I had opportunity to open new things for me: bike, canoe, cheese slider and good coffee. I am very happy to meet here a lot of wonderful new friends. During these two months I took part in three fantastic projects and visited a lot of marvelous places. It was great time with wonderful people and great opportunity to open new things in Europe. It has been the ultimate pleasure to work with SIW over the last two months, THANK YOU dear friends for this unique opportunity to play an active role in varied social spheres, to develop an appreciation for international cooperative teamwork, to enrich outlooks, and to provide the opportunity of intercultural exchange.Svetlana Bondareva, Kyrgyzstan Youth Volunteer Organization “Kyrgyzstan”
