SIW offers a wide variety of volunteer projects around the world. As a non-Dutch citizen you can choose an ESC project or a volunteer project in the Netherlands.

SIW offers responsible volunteer projects. With over 60 years’ experience and a large knowledge network, we provide excellent preparation and coaching support before and during the duration of the projects.

SIW has no profit ambitions; we work with volunteers for volunteers. We keep the costs low and our projects are available to everyone at an affordable price.

Dutch volunteer projects

Our Dutch volunteer projects are carried out by a group of 8 to 20 volunteers, from different countries, within a social organisation. For the duration of 2 weeks during summer the volunteers work and live together.

European Solidarity Corps (ESC)

Via the ESC youth program (for the group age 18 up to 30 years-old) you can do subsidised volunteer work in Europe for a length between 2 to 12 months.

Info days

Every few months SIW organises an Info day for future and former volunteers. This is a day filled with travel stories, shared experiences and preparation tips. We will tell you more about all the international projects we have to offer
