Tanzania | Kinderen en restauratie

Steek je handen uit de mouwen tijdens een groepsproject in Tanzania. Dit project vindt plaats van 1 t/m 19 juli en biedt ruimte aan 8 deelnemers in de leeftijd van 16 t/m 99 jaar. Jouw werkzaamheden richten zich op kinderen.

Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van € 250.
Werk

# Renovation (fixing walls, wall painting etc.).

# Provide garbage collection bins and train children and teenagers on how to use them.

# Health Education: Provide basic education on hygiene, sanitation and public health care to the teenagers and children in the school.

# Assist in organization of extracurricular activities . (sports, games, educational activities and help in home works).

# Study Part (Educational activities): Workshops, discussions, debates and education tours focusing on sustainable development goals topic’s related to future of children in the society. Please bring information from your own community, region or Country for sharing.

Accommodatie en maaltijden

Accommodation will be at beach house. Volunteers will share rooms (2-4) people in one room, using mattresses laydown in the ground. Clean water will available. The house use generator to generate power. Our kitchen-volunteer staff will be available to prepare meals however, each volunteer will be required to help in meals preparation. Vegetarian meals will be available.

Locatie en vrije tijd

Pemba Island, known as "The Green Island" in Arabic. (It is an island forming part of the Zanzibar archipelago lying within the Swahili cost in the Indian coast. With a land area of 988 square kilometers (it is situated about 50 kilometers to the north of Unguja, the largest island of the archipelago). The Island is accessible through fast ferries and flight from Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam and Tanga towns.
Volunteers are expected to take the opportunity to explore Pemba Island famous known as “spice Island”. It is gifted with various natural, cultural and touristic attractions. Some famous options include: -

# Ngezi Forest.

# Vumawimbi beach.

# Misali Island.

# Eco and spice tour including Cloves farms.

Opmerkingen

Non-Tanzanian volunteers are required to have business visa in order to join this project. Visa is available online and can be also obtained at the airport or other border of entry on arrival by presenting UVIKIUTA invitation letter.
