Volunteers will be hosted in Tents

Katembe is located on the south-western side of Maputo Bay, near the Estuário do Espírito Santo where the rivers Tembe, Mbuluzi, Matola and Infulene converge. The bay is 95 kilometres (59 mi) long and 30 kilometres (19 mi) wide. At the extreme east of Katembe and the bay is the island of Inhaca. Katembe is 110 kilometres (68 mi) north of Ponta do Ouro, at the border with South Africa.

Extra info: The participation fee €270 covers simple accommodation, food and project expenses during the camp. Please note that this does not include travel expenses to and from the camp, so participants are asked to reserve a small amount of money for transport to the camp and vice-verse. We advise all volunteers to inform us when they are planning to book their ticket to Mozambique.
