The work consists of laying out, gardening, and painting in a social action center. The duration of the work is 5 hours per day
Volunteers will have accommodation in a secondary school. We will send you more information about the address of the accommodation.
Meals will be prepared by volunteers.
The work will go hand in hand with other activities organized by the volunteers themselves: excursions, family visits, cultural entertainment, sports, visits to historical monuments, etc...
You will also need to bring working clothes, a sleeping bag, and anything else that could help the work camp run smoothly (games, musical instruments, recipes, etc...).
Oujda is a border town in Morocco, located in the extreme north-east of the country, on the edge of the Rif Oriental region, its proximity to the Saidia beach and to Algeria, 5 km away, allows it to play the role of crossroads between Morocco and Algeria; it has more than a million inhabitants.
The medina of Oujda, with its Arab-Muslim character, is surrounded by a belt of gardens planted with olive trees, covering an area of twenty-five hectares and housing several monuments of unquestionable historical value.
Chantiers Jeunesse Maroc organizes a work camp in partnership with the Ministry of Education.

Jongeren onder 18 jaar moeten voor vertrek verplicht een training volgen. De kosten hiervoor zijn € 50 euro en worden apart in rekening gebracht.
Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van € 50.
