Indonesia as an archipelago country has both beautiful nature and many natural disasters. The most common is earthquake that hit every day in entire country with small and big scale. Indonesia also has the most active volcanoes in the world that have potential to erupt anytime. The earthquake itself is a unique natural disaster because people cannot predict the place and time it will occur. Until now there is no advance technology to predict earthquake. It was on 28 September 2018, a 7,5 magnitude earthquake hit the city of Palu and Donggala in Central Sulawesi. The earthquake was continued by the tsunami that have made a massive destruction in the city and offshore and killed more than 2000 people. It was the biggest earthquake hit in Indonesia in 2018 after several earthquakes hit in Lombok island few months earlier. The disaster was not finished yet because there was a rare phenomenon called liquefaction which is a phenomenon when the soil loses its strength because of sudden stress. This phenomenon causing thousands of houses in a village were flowing like water and sinking to the earth. Some of the buildings near the area were impacted with massive destruction and some of them were impacted with passive destruction. These disasters have left the people with sorrow and sadness. Some of the lost their family members, relatives, friends, and neighbors. They lived without electricity, water and food supplies for some days and without anything to do because the lost their jobs. The children could not go to the school because the building was damaged, and their teacher and some of students were the victims. The government and international disaster organization said that it takes more than 5 years to rebuild and recover the building, streets, and all facilities. Until the end of 2018, there are still many families who live in the shelter, tend and temporary house. The children also still doing their activity in outside or a tend while their school building is still under construction.
