This project requires volunteers to work with school children and villagers to initiate micro waste management solutions through our ‘Waste Force’ Campaign which could be applied at local level.

The government has banned use of single use plastic across country but waste littering habit is widely practiced by people of all ages and is major concern for environment degradation.

As a part of this campaign, volunteers will be visiting schools and communities to conduct interactive sessions using carts, signs and videos and address the issue by creating awareness and promoting active citizenship. Other expected tasks for volunteers could be organising educational workshop to reuse waste into something meaningful. This project will challenge your creativity as the focus is on finding or developing practical solutions to existing problem and mobilising people to accept and adopt it

Volunteers having knowledge or interest in waste management are welcome

India is facing a waste crisis where there is no effective waste management solution provided to people outside cities. As a result majority of generated waste is either burnt, thrown away in environment or used for landfill. Watching this we initiated ‘Waste Force’ campaign in 2017 with mission to end Burning of Plastic waste through education and community clean up actions.
