This is a special project which organize specifically to celebrate Sangkran (Khmer New Year) Festival. Volunteers will experience the cultural moment where the entire country celebration together. Local people, national and international volunteers will work together in organizing this important event for the public. There might be hundreds of people participated in this event and volunteers and local people will dress in Khmer traditional dress while different activities will be organized such as going to Buddhist temple, playing transitional games, playing with water, and more. You are going to have a great experience by participating in this workcamp!
Volunteer will stay together at volunteer's house inside the village. Food will be prepared by local chef but you will be asked to serve, clean, and wash dishes by yourself.
There are plenty of tourist attraction sites such as Teuk Chhou, Bokor national park, Rabit island, and more.. that you can explore during your free day. CLC is on open space in the remote area so beside your free day touring you can also have fun by interacting with local people, teenagers and children during your free time by organizing different activities so bring your flexibility and creativity.
CYA - learning Center (CLC) started in 2014 to; (1) promote higher education among local children and teenagers, (2) To preserve and protect local culture heritage, and (3) to improve the living condition of local people.
Since the beginning, volunteers had started CLC and make change in the community while learning and changing in themselves. We thanks very much to our partners that support our idea and continue to send us motivated volunteers so that CYA - Learning Center can continue to chase our goals. While exciting on 2023 planning process, we would like to invite you to join to make a bigger change in our community.

Jongeren onder 18 jaar moeten voor vertrek verplicht een training volgen. De kosten hiervoor zijn € 50 euro en worden apart in rekening gebracht.
Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van $ 220. (Ca. € 202)
