Organic farming – Participant help in rice terrace and fruit farm. There are pineapple, corn
farms. Craft – The rest of time from your main work, the important thing is to learn and
share with the villagers by visiting, talking and doing activities with them. You will get a
rich experience by learning and sharing from each other. In the village there are many
heritage local crafts such as pillows, cloths, baskets, etc. Participants will learn and support
the community by either way.
Ecotourism – There are many interesting places to visit in the community such as the
Buddhist temple, waterfall, national park etc. The participants would go to visit these
places and collect garbage, promoting recycling and keeping the place clean. Creative
teaching English – Creative teaching is important to recognize; a teaching certificate does
not need a specific quality of the participant but creativity is the one of yours. The aims of
creative teaching are giving the chance for people in the village or the place nearby to
have the opportunity to communicate with different languages, touch 19 different
cultures, and believe. The participant will go to primary school nearby homestay or
practice English for local people in the village.
Participants will stay at the homestay in the village. Separate 2-5 participants in a house.
Share room with each other, share toilet in home stay. No internet. Food will be provided at
each homestay.

Mae Kham Por homestay is a place where the participant can learn the local way of
daily life such as food, agriculture, style of costume, and local Thai massage. Mae
Kham Por homestay has been developed by VSA since 2015 for sustainable ecoparticipant located at Chang Keung village, Mae Chaem district, 2: 30 hours from
Chiangmai city. There are 10,000 population, 2,500 habitats. The main occupation of
the village is agriculture, rice terrace, fruit farm, and livestock. Some villagers are still
making their own textile where participants can learn.
