Samen met 14 andere vrijwilligers ga je voor 14 dagen naar een natuur en archeologieproject.
Het project duurt van 5 t/m 19 augustus.
Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van € 20.
The project raises three actions or blogs, in the technical and work aspect, one focusing on paleontological heritage, another of mining heritage and a third, of natural-landscape heritage. Also the volunteers will carry out an intervention task at the Talarn summer house in order to share and interact with the children of the town and the international youth. The tasks are designed to recover the archeological site of la Torre de Capdella and to work on the interpretation and classification of objects and structures of the town. At the same time, the goal is to help maintaining and improving the surrounds and the access to the archeological site. It is also focused on learning how to identify and study archeologic materials.
The accommodation is in the Alberg of Talarn (Shelter of Talarn). Bunk beds equipped with private WC and showers. And also full equipped kitchen. This shelter is an old rural house of the XVIII century that was done using part of the old Wall of the town. Details of the Kitchen: The kitchen is located on the third floor and is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, pantry and all the tools available for daily function. Details of the dining area: The Hall of “Nerets” is located on the third floor in the kitchen together. It is a multipurpose room (with lots of available space), where you can make games, old videos, workshops, meetings and mainly used as a dining room for different meals (with a capacity for 40 people, all the necessary equipment). Details of the sleeping space: the space is located on the second floor. The room has 12 beds and shelves as storage space and a room inside for two monitors with beds for up to 4 people. Details of the personal care space: Inside the room there are four bathrooms with showers, four toilets and 7 sinks for disposal.
The set of activities based on values education, has as its primary objective the creation of the necessary conditions to foster reflection and living spaces that allow new forms of social relations: co-education, intercultural, peace or sustainability are perspectives from which it seeks to promote dialogue and reflection processes that allow rethink ideas and practices. This project involves a wide range of activities in the afternoon, evening and night games that aim to deepen relations group. We propose a discovery of the Catalan cultural reality in two ways: First, take a two days route through the Montsec, visiting emblematic places as the lake of Sant Antoni or the Carbon Factory Bach. The other will take a one day visit to the capital of the country, Barcelona. Free access to the swimming pool.

The Association for the Coordination of members and organizations of rural leisure of Catalonia is a non- profit organization that works on education and social action for young people in the rural world in Catalonia. The Association “Geoparc Conca de Tremp-Montsec” is a non- profit organization as well, that is composed by 19 councils of the zone. The Geoparc project aims to enhance and promote geology, paleontology, mining, archeology and astronomy as an identity brand of the territory.
