Frankrijk | Constructie en kunst

Samen met 11 andere vrijwilligers ga je voor 10 dagen naar een constructie en kunstproject.
Het project duurt van 7 t/m 17 september.

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

With the support of a technical coordinator from Concordia and the services of Est Metropole Habitat, in cooperation with the organizing committee of the Quartier Bel Air's 50 years, you will realize the signage elements for the final event that will take place September 15, 2018 and in which you will participate. You will be able to express all your creativity by participating in the creation of a totem which will be set in the heart of the district.
You will be lodged in two housing units made available by Est Metropole Habitat, a HLM organization attached to the Metropole de Lyon. These apartments will be located in Saint-Priest, in the Bel Air district, near the construction site. Do not forget to take a duvet. The group will be permanently supervised by two animators, a group animator and a technical animator. Together, you will participate in the organization of the collective life (household, activities …) and the preparation of meals from the products that will be purchased nearby. We will promote local products as well as short circuits. Tastings of local products are also possible with local producers.
The city of Saint-Priest is one of the 59 municipalities that make up the Metropole de Lyon. With more than 45,000 inhabitants it is the 5th most populated city at the departmental level. It is located in the east of Lyon and has in its territory all the amenities related to life in an urban environment. It is connected to the city of Lyon by tram and has a dense and varied public transport network (bike, bus …). The city of Saint-Priest is composed of several popular neighbourhoods, each with its history and its particularities. It also has many green and agricultural areas that make it a very pleasant city alternating urbanism and preserved spaces. The project will take place from September 10 to 17, 2018. You will be able to participate in festivities related to the 50th anniversary of the neighbourhood, including the final event whose programming is underway. Many cultural and leisure activities will also be available in the city and the whole agglomeration. You can also visit Lyon, the world capital of gastronomy and whose historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
For the 50 years of the Quartier Bel Air the city of Saint-Priest wishes to make the district's memory alive by proposing throughout this year convivial animations and meetings promoting the intergenerational link. From March to October the neighborhood will come to life. Come and take part in the festivities by supporting the organization of the final event. Summon your inner artist to build a totem that will represent the history and values of this neighborhood! During this first project, made with the support of the landlord Est Metropole Habitat, you will meet young San-priods who will share with you their knowledge of the neighborhood. You will work together to create scenographic elements and on the realization of the totem, the true symbol of the district.
Remember to wear gloves as well as clothes and shoes that do not mind dirt. Although the accommodation is indoor, consider bringing a warm duvet and appropriate clothing in case of rain. Do not forget sun protection (hat, glasses, cream …). Informal time will be programmed with our animators and according to your desires! If you want to share a little of your culture (recipes, traditional stories, unusual objects …), do not hesitate to take a small piece of your country in your backpack! Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues happen on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and then be reimbursed once back in their home country.
