Spanje | Constructie en natuur
Samen met 6 andere vrijwilligers ga je voor 12 dagen naar een constructie en natuurproject.
Het project duurt van 16 t/m 28 juli.
• Bioconstruction (like walls of dry stone, arrangement of roads and planters) and work in Mas Pujou, applying measures to promote biodiversity in rural areas. • Repair of barges that serve to track fish. • Workshop on auto repair of bikes. It would serve to fix the space and, ideally, to set up some bikes recovered from the city council of Olot. • Timely help in the Garden of Environmental Education or in the community gardens that the entity manages. • Collaboration in the environmental education activities that are being developed (in July, nursery and youth work camp). • Monitoring of fauna or flora (ripe forests, river crabs). Work day hours: 8:30am – 13:30h from Monday to Friday, plus some afternoon or occasional evening when the task requires it.
Volunteers will be accommodated in Mas Pujou is a traditional country house, with many annexed, stable and corrals and a very large central house. They will sleep in a large room with bunks. The kitchen, dining room and toilets, however, are located in the main house. The food will be provided by the organization and a different volunteer will help the cook each day. Please bring a sleeping bag, and if you want a cushion and a sheet to cover the mattress.
Mas Pujou, Olot.
Born 40 years ago, the ANEGx has been evolving and going through different stages: from its beginnings focused on ornithology, going through a stage in which naturalism implied actively mobilizing for the defense of natural heritage, to the Our days when the entity is more diversified. Today at ANEGx we have 3 main areas of work: naturalism, environmentalism and environmental education. For more details on the specific objectives and activities that we carry out, you can consult our website: www.anegarrotxa.wordpress.com
Please bring a sleeping bag, and if you want a cushion and a sheet to cover the mattress. It would be highly recommended that soap and shampoo be biodegradable if you bring some, because the house has a septic tank for gray water and conventional soaps make it difficult to work properly.
The house where the volunteers will be housed is located in the heart of the Natural Park of the Garrotxa Volcanic Area, half an hour on foot from many natural and cultural centers of interest. In addition to meetings with local entities.
