Het project duurt van 6 t/m 18 augustus.

Community and solidarity maintenance work; reuse, recycling, social animation, gardening, mapping; creative, cultural and food workshops; restoring of green areas and agriculture; cleaning and maintenance of the confiscated property.
Volunteers will be lodged at the eco-village "Fiori di campo", in rooms with several beds. Meals will be cooked by volunteers with organic products harvested at km 0 (meals for vegetarians and vegans and for those who have allergies. Inform us!). The kitchen is run by the volunteers together with the project coordinators and camp leaders.
"Fiori di campo" was a property belonging to mafia, which has been confiscated to Vincenzo Piazza (considered the manager of the local mafia) during the maxi confiscation of 1993. Piazza “washed” dirty money from the Graviano brothers, in public and private reinvesting. It is estimated that the "Calcestruzzi Piazza" firm amounted to more than 2,000 billion, old Lira. They built palaces, schools, public buildings, between the 70s and 80s, in Palermo, all around Sicily and Tuscany. The eco-village "Fiori di campo", in particular, was the summer residence of the Piazza family. The name "Fiori di campo" (wild flowers) comes from a poem by Peppino Impastato. It is a leafy, cool place, 300 meters from the sea, close to Torre Pozzillo. The property is managed since 2012 by “Libera-Mente”, a cooperative which contributed to make “Fiori di campo” an affordable and cozy place, with the help of many volunteers and local associations. Volunteers can have different kind of activities in the confiscated property: community service, recycling and re-use workshops with scrap materials, agricultural work at the farm Talè (also managed by Libera-Mente Cooperative), where they will collect and directly bring to the table the organic products. We will move by bike to the sea, we will discuss about critical consumption, we will deepen the Law n. 109/96 on social re-use of confiscated properties, we will go around Palermo rediscovering places and flavours, we will retrace the "100 steps" in Cinisi between the “Memory House” and the former “House Badalamenti”, we will taste the pastries of those who said ‘No’ to the racket, we will hear testimonies of civil and social engagement.
The camp is equipped to host people with a disability. The camp is self-managed and for territorial activies, we will move by bike in the flat land. Two days will be dedicated to the “Percorso della memoria”(trad. Memory’s Path) in Palermo, and to “100 passi"(trad. 100 steps) in Cinisi.
