Duitsland | Natuur
Samen met 9 andere vrijwilligers ga je voor 14 dagen naar een natuurproject.
Het project duurt van 1 t/m 15 september.
The nature preservation area „Kuttenbach“ is part of the FFH area „Kuttenbach- Moosheide-Vordere Aue“. One of the particularities of the NSG is the „Kuttenbach“. It is a near-natural lower mountain stream with its headwaters. Many moor areas, wetlands, tall forb areas, mountain meadows and dwarf shrub heathlands are part of the NSG. The aim of the project is to contribute to the maintenance of the biotope and help with the re-naturalization procedures. The youth are expected to help with the mowing and tidying up the biomass. Your quarter is the open children and youth station, where you will have the opportunity to meet young people from the area, make use of the sports facilities on site, play games together or just have a chat. However, smoking and drinking alcohol is not permitted in the accommodation or on the premise, because this is supposed to be a drug-free zone for young people to interact with each other. For more information take a look at the website www.oaseloessnitz.de or on Facebook.
You will stay in the youth centre "OASE". You will cook together. Packed lunches will be provided for field work.
There are plenty of options for spending your free time in and around the "OASE" and during field trips in the "Erzgebirge" where you can experience interesting aspects of the region and explore nature. You may also be interested in exploring the historical part of cities like Dresen and Leipzig or take a trip to one of the old mines in the area.
