Duitsland | Restauratie

Samen met 11 andere vrijwilligers ga je voor 10 dagen naar een restauratieproject.
Het project duurt van 2 t/m 12 juli.

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Your help is needed to make the “project and meeting centre” more attractive for all our visitors – children, teenagers, students, artists and different groups of adults. The volunteers are asked to paint, repair, renovate and clean the centre, as well as working in the garden. Please be prepared for different tasks.
You will live at the centre in bungalows. You won’t bring a sleeping bag with you, bed linen will be provided. There is no washing machine and only limited access to internet in the centre. You will have the chance to prepare your own meals in a small kitchen at the centre. Please bring your own recipes for our international evenings.
This will be decided in accordance with the group’s wishes. You can use the facilities at our holiday centre to play sports (volleyball, table tennis). Of course you will be able to enjoy the sights and culture (theatres, clubs…) of Berlin and go for an excursion to Potsdam.
You will live in the “Projekt- und Begegnungsstätte”, which is the meeting and project centre of the Union of Young Volunteers (VJF). It is situated directly on the banks of the lake “Langer See” in Berlin and is surrounded by forest. It’s a beautiful, quiet place, a bit further from the centre of Berlin (but there are good public transport connections). This centre is used as accommodation for different groups of young people, as well as a holiday resort for school classes. It is possible to hold national or international assemblies there as well.
Please be aware that the place is a bit far away from the city and it won’t be possible to go to the city every day!!! (For individual trips you have to pay yourself!)
