The volunteers will assist in preserving local cultural heritage. Volunteers are welcome to take part in renovating and upgrading local cultural sights. You will learn about traditional building methods and have a chance to do physical work together with local volunteers in a beautiful countryside setting.
Basic shared accommodation in a youth house. The volunteers will prepare meals themselves.
Urjala is a small peaceful community in western Finland about 160 km from Helsinki. Urjala is located in beautiful countryside with lakes and forests. There are also interesting local industrial and cultural sights for exploring and some excursions will be arranged.
The local host is the municipal youth office of Urjala. This is the second time they host an international work camp and the local young people are eagerly waiting to get international participants to their local community after the very nice experience last year.
The registration fee of 50 euros. Volunteers have to have their own travel insurance.
