Íllora is a Spanish town and municipality located in the eastern part of the region of Loja in Granada province in Andalusia. The most important musical event held in the town is the Parapanda Folk festival. It has been declared as National Tourist Festival. It involves both national and international ethnic music groups. This activity is considered of great cultural significance. Description of work:
– Building and removing festival facilities (including decoration)
– Help in the kitchen of the festival
– Cleaning the facilities
– Other activities (children s workshops, dances, etc. )
– Support other festival related task.
Keep in mind that part of the work requires an important physical effort and that the temperatures during those dates are usually very high.
Participants will be accommodated in public buildings (school or in sports facilities), using mats and sleeping bags (brought by participants) in beds. They will cook for themselves, basic kitchen will be provided for them.
