The project is taking place in Vicchio, 35 km far from Florence, at Aiasanta farm, belonging to the non-profit association Le C.A.S.E. which is run by a few families who live together as a community, in a sober style. The association includes 5 foster-homes and 2 experimental centers.Aiasanta is one of the two centers that since 2008 has been hosting migrants from foster-homes or asylum seeking. The adults of the families have a job outside the community but they also offer voluntary work in the centers to renovate the buildings, to run the farm or the migrants reception. The activities here include: organic farming, training and experimentation on responsible and sustainable life styles. Mainly in the summer, the community hosts scout groups, volunteer groups and organizes workcamps. See their website: www.aiasanta.org and facebook: aiasanta. They request IBO cooperation in maintenance work in the house and outdoor areas.
