This workcamp takes place in the far north of Germany, direct on the Baltic coast where you will be living and working far away from civilisation. You will work in beautiful nature reserves and will be able to learn about various ecosystems. Your tasks will include removing young woody plants from the Langballigau valley as well as various maintenance work (such as removing roses) in the Geltinger Birk nature reserves, which consists of dunes, swamps, heaths, moors and sparse forests. Through your dedication to the cause, you will be contributing to the preservation of these diverse habitats. Throughout the project, there will be dedicated and experienced wildlife experts from the project partner (Geltinger Birk Intergrated Station), as well as their associates from the field of conservation, who are on-hand to help with the work. This work camp is for real nature lovers, since you will be sleeping in very basic accommodation in the middle of nature, but you will only be 800m from the beautiful sandy beach of the Baltic Sea.
