– Work (6 hours a day maximum) – participation in a campaign of archaeological excavation with the guidance of an archaeologist: excavation, cleaning, discovery of materials; washing and treatment of materials (ceramics, bones, coals, seeds)
– Free time- Boat trip on the Douro River (UNESCO World Heritage), visit to museums (CÔA and Casa Grande) , belvederes, castles, historic villages (Marialva), rock engravings of the Côa Valley and the Douro Wine Region (UNESCO World Heritage), Visit to the winery and wine tastings….
volunteers will be accommodated at ACDR Youth Centre, composed of 2 dormitories and 8 rooms. Meals will be served in the youth centre restaurant. Internet access free (wifi); Sports Park; Coffee bar
