By continuing the work done by previous workcamps, you will work on different sections of the river at the heart of the village to manage the vegetation on the riverbanks and to remove litter. Every week, you will organize a gathering with the local inhabitants to report the progress of the project and to raise awareness of the positive impact your work has on the local ecosystem.
You will live in a big park in an old house that belongs to the town hall. The house is equipped with a kitchen and bathroom and you will share your room with the other volunteers. Food will be provided and prepared by the group in turns.
Location: Saint Yorre (03270), 8 km from Vichy.
Leisure activities: The activities during afternoons and weekends are organised collectively with the whole group. You will have the possibility to, for example, take a nice path along the river to walk to the beautiful city of Vichy. You can also discover the surrounding hills, or enjoy the festivities in local cities.
