This workcamp aims to restore several heritage features located on the left bank of the stream called Riou, right at the entrance of the gorge with the same name. With a technical supervisor, you will redevelop the surroundings of a spring, crossing a hiking path to provide a satisfying waterpoint for hikers and maintaining the path. You will also participate in the recovery of portions of the mule track allowing access to a plateau overlooking the Riou gorges. The stones for construction will be found on site, from the recovery roads and from fragments of loose stones at the base of cliffs.
You will reside in tents at the “Les Cigales” campground, located in the village of Saint-Genis, the same village as your work site. A lively team will be there to help you in participating in the community (cleaning, dishes, the organizations of outings, etc.), but also with the preparation of meals using local products.
Location: Saint-Genis (9 km of Serres, 30 km of Sisteron).
