Get involved in restoring an amazing site in the heart of a small Breton town, near Rennes! Come and continue the dynamic initiated last year around this site and make the locals want to get involved in the restoration project!
The municipality of Corps-Nuds welcomes you for its second international workcamp, in partnership with the youth service in order to bond with young people from the territory.
For this second year, you will renovate the exterior of a second building on the site, using traditional masonry techniques: cleaning the walls and the surroundings (de-vegetation), repairing the joints and replacing missing stones...
Accommodatie en maaltijden
You will sleep in two-person tents (boys and girls separated) near the school. Please bring your sleeping bag and camping mat. The group activities and meals will take place in a room made available to the group. The group will be sharing the cleaning chores and preparing meals together. The budget will be allocated to the camp leader, shopping will be done with him/her and you will participate in the preparation of meals with products from the market and local producers (if possible).
Locatie en vrije tijd
Corps-Nuds (around 3200 inhabitants) is located in Ille-et-Vilaine, 30-minute drive away from Rennes, capital of Brittany.

You will have to bring warm clothes (trousers, sweater; socks, closed shoes, rain clothes) and summer clothes (skirt or shorts, t-shirt, open shoes) because weather can change very suddenly in Brittany. You can literally experience all four seasons in one day! Please also take with you working clothes, gloves and shoes in addition to your swimsuit. Bring a warm sleeping bag and an insulated camping mat as nights are sometimes fresh and wet.
Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues happen on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.
