Work in Laukasoo mire will be building dams out of peat blocks. Work in in Matsalu will be clearing a lakeside from brushwood. A typical workday will last for 6 hours. Work equipment and gloves will be provided by ELF. Participants need to bring suitable clothes for work, rubber boots, sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
Accommodatie en maaltijden
Simple accommodation on mattresses or in beds in sleeping bags. Showers and kitchen are available. One evening will be reserved for traditional Estonian sauna. We will be cooking our own food. Estonian group leader will compile the menu and buy groceries.

Itineraries-1st August. Around noon: arrival to Tallinn Airport. Public transport: train from Ulemiste station (ca 1 h and 6 euros) or bus from Tallinn Coach Station to the town of Rakvere (ca 1,5 h and 6 euros). Pick-up from Rakvere with ELF s minivan.-2nd and 4th August. Work in Laukasoo mire (North-Estonia).-3rd August. Free day to explore the Lahemaa National Park.-5th August. Transport from North-Estonia to West-Estonia. The route goes through the town of Tartu in South-Estonia to load new work equipment.-6th and 8th August. Work in Matsalu National Park (West-Estonia)-7th August. Free day to explore West-Estonia.-9th August. Drop-off to Lihula. Special requirementsYou have to bring working clothes, warm clothes as nights can be rather chilly, wet weather clothing, summer clothes as days might be hot, wellingtons, sleeping bag and sleeping mattress, swimwear, towel, insect spray. Necessary tools and cloves provided by ELF.Participation fee You are kindly asked to contribute 110 Euro towards cost of board, lodging, programme, administration and for nature This fee has to be paid by volunteers either by bank transfer before the beginning of the camp or to the host upon arrival to the camp.
