In this camp you will help out the local community by renovating a barn house which was erected in the middle ages and is part of the local cultural heritage. This will include manual work of course, and will be guided when needed.
Furthermore, you can help the environment by fostering and raising a "natural hedge" made of plants, some of which with healing properties. This hedge will also serve as a place of shelter for animals. At some parts along the hedge you will also help build a dry-stone wall. All the work will contribute to make Haunsheim more attractive, helping the environment and wildlife at the same time.
Accommodatie en maaltijden
You will be accommodated in an empty apartment with adequate space for you. You will still need to bring your own sleeping bags.
There will also be a place for you to cook and take showers in the nearby clubhouse and the local sportshall.
Locatie en vrije tijd
Haunsheim is a small rural village with roughly 1600 inhabitants. The community lies in Bavaria and is of Swabian origin. For its size, Haunsheim has a lot of beautiful old architecture - like a small chateau. Also, the landscape surrounding it is typical for southern Germany, it is mostly untouched, so it is perfect to be explored by hiking.
