You will take part in the installation, the life and disassembly of the festival alongside with the team of the Splash association s volunteers, co-host of the festival with the firm Madcow. You will help constructing and arranging infrastructures made of recycled materials: stages, refreshment stalls. During the festival (July 31st to 2nd of August), you will help the rest of the volunteers to clean, deal with the waste, provide services. And, after the festival, you will have the mission to take down structures and clean the site. You will learn how to use tools, install and uninstall structures. You will discover the dynamics of the festival s backstage as you will participate in its internal operation. You will develop your flexibility and adaptability skills. Working hours are variable and depend of the need of help on site. You will approximatively work 25 hours per week and on the week-end, during the festival. The remaining time will be spent on leisure activities, group life and bonding with the team of the festival s volunteers. Be ready to meet a large public, more than 2000 people are expected for the 2020 edition Access to the concerts will be free to all volunteers.
Accommodatie en maaltijden
You will be accommodated in tents with the volunteers team on the festival s volunteers campsite. Nights can be cold, be sure to take some warm clothes, sheets and sleeping bags with you. The festival will take place next to the waterfall lake, located 3,5km away from the city centre. Showers and toilets will be set up on the campsite. Meals will be taken with the group of volunteers. You will learn to live as part of a group.

Cheylade has 225 inhabitants. It is located within the Pays de Gentiane, in the department of Cantal, 93km south of Clermont Ferrand. Cheylade is right in the heart of the Regional Park of Auvergne Volcanoes. Hiking lover? You will discover a large choice of hiking trails. Essential stage: The Puy Mary. Located 16km away from Cheylade, this old volcano has many peaks between 1690 and 1855 meters of altitude. From them, you will have breath-taking views of the region. At Cheylade, you will also discover a beautiful natural heritage (waterfalls, lake) as well as a Romanesque church from the XIth century. You could also board the Gentiane Express touristic train. It will offer you a 2h45 drive to discover the region of Cantal, its history, landscapes and inhabitants.
