You will participate in the life of the festival supervised by the volunteers of the Crest Jazz Vocal association. You will help with the installation of the dressing rooms, the setting up of the site, the dismantling and storage of all the festival material. During the festival, you will regularly clean the site and the toilets and will participate in waste management while respecting selective sorting. Some evenings, you will participate in the sale at the stands of drinks and souvenirs. The working hours are variable and depend on the need for manpower on the site, 20 hours per week and sometimes on weekends. The rest of the time will be dedicated to leisure and group life. During the camp, your motivation is essential. The tasks on the festival are a bit repetitive but essential for its success. You must be particularly dynamic, enthusiastic and ready to meet the public and the many volunteers present.
Accommodatie en maaltijden
You will be staying in the town center, in the former teachers accommodation located on the first floor of the public school. You will have a toilet and a shower on site. Your living space is located in another building nearby where an additional kitchen, shower and WC will be at your disposal. The meals will be prepared collectively and you will be required to participate in daily tasks (cooking, dish washing, cleaning).

Located in the Rhone Valley and at the gates of Diois, Crest has 8,000 inhabitants. Old medieval town and rich in its heritage, Crest has the highest dungeon in France (height 52 m). Very lively in summer, the town offers many sports and cultural activities: visit the Art Center, visit the Tower, free concerts, swimming pools, hiking, homestay, visit to Valence, initiation to petanque, night markets. You will often be in contact with the volunteers of the Crest Jazz vocal association and will share many moments of exchange. You can stroll through the shopping streets of Crest, which are particularly lively during the summer.
This workcamp will allow you to discover the logistics necessary for setting up and running a festival. You will be part of this organization and develop your capacities of adaptability, versatility and responsibility. Your dynamism and your reactivity will also be reinforced. A schedule will be given to you at the start of the work and will require your attentiveness, your autonomy and your thoroughness. Group life will consolidate these human skills.
