Cleaning and arrangement of land for the productive resumption of the same, construction of fences, cleaning and tidying up of the green area around the block.

Provided by the locals in Contrada Vallone Rosso; regarding the food: the meals will be distributed between the premises of the Coop ARA and those of the association Casa di Maria, which is about 7/8 minutes away from the place of activities. Nets and mattresses are provided. The transport is provided by the project.

The location of the camp is rather isolated. The trips are always organized in cooperation with the managers.

The work camp project is the result of a collaboration with the A.R.A. cooperative, which originates from the association Casa di Maria , founded in 2009 and which has been taking care of minors in difficulty for years. The cooperative project was born from the idea of a group of people and professionals, working in the field of social services, with the desire to bet and invest themselves in creating a reality that can give concrete answers to current problems. The cooperative currently has 9 members, aged between 23 and 63, who have always been involved in the world of services to people, due to personal commitment, vocation and professional choice. In 2017, the need arose to find a shared space suitable for gathering experiences and transforming them into concrete projects: that s how COOPERATIVA A.R.A. was born. The acronym A.R.A. stands for Agriculture, Catering and Welcoming (Agricoltura, Ristorazione, Accoglienza), areas that, by exchanging with each other, allow a completely new vision of Welcoming: to create a reality capable of creating a exemplary circle that starts from the Welcoming of minors, and is able to offer them concrete opportunities for job placement, social reintegration and valid accompaniment to autonomy, through the cultivation of raw materials and the use of the same in catering. The co-operative has a private inheritance consisting of a rural building and a plot of cultivable land of about 2 hectares, necessary for the implementation of the agriculture strand; and Rural Tourism: about one hectare of cultivated vineyard, millstone used as a restaurant, professional kitchen and premises necessary for the implementation of the Catering strand. In this specific project volunteers will be involved in: - Making a brownfield site productive - Preparing the soil for new crops - Building fences and fencing - Preparing the soil for a vegetable garden - Cleaning up portions of the block of flats to make them usable.

This camp is for italian and international volunteers. Bring flashlight, trekking boots, work gloves, sleeping bag or sheets and pillowcase, personal medicine, mosquito repellent products. If you play any musical instrument brig them with you.
