After the experience on the occasion of the Third World Meeting of Terraced Landscapes that took place in Italy in October 2016 and subsequent camps in 2017, 2018 and 2019, the collaboration between IBO Italy and the CAI (Club Alpino Italiano) Ischia - Procida subsection continues also for 2022.The CAI Ischia-Procida was founded in May 2012 and its members, in addition to their passion for the mountains and free hiking and mountaineering, are attentive to the culture and history of the mountain environment, aware that the mountains can be a place of excellence for experimenting with a sustainable use of resources oriented, protecting nature and history and thus promoting the socio-economic growth of local populations.Also, for 2022 the planned activities are the restoration of some paths that are part of the CAI cadaster in Ischia. Volunteers will be involved in the maintenance activities of some paths. The volunteer camp is part of a wider project of care of the dry stone-built heritage and transfer of traditional building knowledge carried out by the Italian section of the World Terraced Landscapes Alliance (ITLA).
