The large property of the “School Biology Center” (= Centre for Environmental Education) in Hildesheim consists of a varied landscape with different biotopes and high experience value. Schoolchildren of all school levels are educated here and workshops, nature experience events, children's birthday parties, holiday fun events or holiday care take place. The focus of the work is on environmental education, public relations and the breeding of the endangered yellow-bellied toad. You will support the school biology center with gardening and garden design: building fences, disposing of old wood, creating new areas of the garden, painting the new workshop and preparing an area for a climbing landscape. Furthermore, there is a study part on the topics "sustainable workcamp, sustainable everyday life". You will cook as group in the kitchen of the center - healthy cuisine with regional ingredients, supplemented with herbs from the herb garden (possibly also tomatoes, zucchini, lettuce). Avoiding garbage. At the end of the camp, there will be a big sustainability festival at the school biology center on July 30, which you will help to prepare. There, nature conservation organizations and local providers will present themselves with their own information and sales booths with regional and sustainable products.

Accommodatie en maaltijden

In summer, the market square becomes the Citybeach - a popular meeting place with events in the middle of the city. Hannover, the capital of Lower Saxony, can be reached in 30 minutes by train.
