As a nature-loving young person, are you interested in a work camp with like-minded people in the forest? Then you will find in our project the opportunity to experience nature in many ways and to help shape it. You will actively help with the care of young tree cultures and we will renovate a forest hut together. Our project immerses you in forest ecology and teaches you about sustainable resource management at the same time.

You cook together. Money for the food shopping is provided to you. Vegetarian or vegan meals are possible. Please indicate any allergies when registering. You will be staying in the community hall in the town centre.

You will be staying in the middle of the art nouveau town of Traben-Trarbach, where you will have the opportunity to experience various leisure activities. Both indoor and outdoor pools are right next to where you will be staying. You can reach Trier, the oldest town in Germany, by train (around 60km away), as well as Luxembourg City (around 90km away) and Koblenz (around 60km away). You can also get involved in the goings on of the association, which has a strong presence in the local area

Covid Rules (may change depending on the course of the pandemic): 2G+: Only vaccinated and recovered persons can register for the work camp. All participants must arrive with an official negative rapid test (not older than 24 hours) or PCR test (not older than 48 hours). On arrival, this and a vaccination or recovery certificate must be presented, and a self-rapid test must be carried out. Thereafter, the entire group must perform a rapid self-test at least every 72 hours. We will provide self-rapid tests for the arrival and the whole camp period! Subject to changes! You will receive more detailed information after confirming your registration and at least 3 weeks before the start of the camp with the specific info sheet for your camp.

work can be physically demanding. Only for volunteers who love to work in the nature. Please note: There is a special Teenage Fee of 150€ for international volunteers who applied under 18 in this camp.
