During the first week of this work camp, you will participate in the construction of a bread oven. You will be accompanied by 6 local young people from the programs Travail au Fil des Saisons and Reperer et mobiliser les publics invisibles . You will be able to exchange about your different cultures You will be able to share your different cultures while working towards a common goal. During the second week, you will be asked to build outdoor furniture such as chairs and tables made of wooden pallets for the local retirement home. On these different missions you will be accompanied by a technical supervisor who will share his know-how with you. You will be able to develop your ability to adapt, to be precise and to work in a team. You will also be accompanied by local volunteers who will be eager to share their history and help you discover their village.

You will be accommodated in tents and will have access to a shower as well as sanitary facilities and a kitchen in a communal room. We will work with local producers to encourage the maximum use of products from the short circuit. Some meals will be co-prepared with local people who will be delighted to share their history and their land with you. Each volunteer will be asked to take an active part in the collective life of the group: preparation of the meals, cleaning of the dishes, cleaning of the toilets and premises. You will walk to the work site.

From the top of the belvedere called Le Telegraphe, named after the telegraph that existed there in the past, you can overlook the village and enjoy a 270 degree view. Thanks to the orientation table, you will be able to admire the landscape from Mont Blanc to Mont Pilat, with a magnificent panorama of the Alps, the Vercors, the hills of the Drome and the Vivarais. While walking through the streets of Sonnay, you can discover a 20th century oil mill which was used clandestinely during the Second World War. You can also enjoy the garden of the town hall, an important place in the life of the commune.
