- Ecological training;- Understand the management of protected areas;- Control of alien invasive species;- Beneficiation of local fauna, flora, and landscape;- Plogging, cleaning of pathways; waste removal;- Construction of wood structures for environmental education;- Valorization of local cultural heritage though workshops and activities in small villages;- Encouragement of international exchange and sharing of experiences;- Promotion of environmentally and socially responsible citizenship;- Development of action-training actions focused on individual and collective learning regarding nature conservation.

Participants will sleep in a sports complex, in shared rooms with military-style beds. There will be separated rooms for boys and forgirls. The sports center has locker rooms with hot water showers also separated by gender. Participants have to bring their own towelsand hygiene products.The organization will provide breakfasts, lunches, break snacks, and dinners. Lunches and dinners are prepared/cooked by local staffand served at the local canteen, but some lunches will be served in the field (sandwiches, fruits, etc.). There will always be avegetarian option

The territory of the Parque das Serras do Porto, with nearly 6,000 hectares, assumes a strategic position in the metropolitan area of Porto due to its natural and cultural values, the ecological services it provides and the proximity to urban centers, communication routes and tourist circuits.

This camp aims at improving the ecological condition and the visiting areas of the protected area Parque das Serras do Porto. This area is located near the city of Porto and faces many human pressures. With this camp we will help nature, promote biodiversity conservation, but also celebrate and encourage local traditions and cultural heritage in small villages, engaging the local community in nature conservation activities.
