Locatie en vrije tijd

Alenquer is an urban area very close to Lisbon. This workcamp will happen mainly along the river Alenquer in natural areas very close to the city center

This camp will take place in Alenquer, a city very close to Lisbon with beautiful protected natural landscapes. In this workcamp, participants will have the opportunity to work in these areas, such as Serra de Montejunto and Serra da Ota, doing forest management work, which is essential for nature conservation and fire prevention. Close to the city centre, participants will also be able to work in smaller natural spaces, such as municipal gardens and small forests, and close to the river Alenquer where they will learn about natural engineering to recover degraded riverbanks. NATURAlenquer will be a great opportunity to know more about sustainability, the environment and, of course, to get to know a beautiful region of Portugal with amazing cultural trips.
