Take part in the 22nd edition of the "Tempos du monde" festival! which puts forward cultures and music from all over the world! On the magnificent site of Lake Christus, the project will consist of preparing, animating and closing the new edition of this event in a colorful, musical and spicy atmosphere. Your tasks will be varied! You will participate in the communication before the festival, in the assembly and dismantling of the festivities spaces as well as their wooden decorations (construction of lounge, lounge area ....)
You will be accommodated in individual tents where you will find a very nice viewpoint of the surrounding countryside. Sanitary facilities, kitchen and communal living room will be available. You will share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the group leaders; you will participate in the grocery shopping and the preparation of the meals, opting for healthy and local products.
Adjacent to the town of Dax, the small spa town of Saint-Paul-les-Dax, located on the way to Santiago de Compostela, preserves from its past a beautiful religious building that is the church of Saint-Paul (classified as a historical monument). Saint-Paul-les-Dax also has many green spaces conducive to relaxation, as evidenced by the French park of the town hall and the shady shores of Lake Christus, a peaceful body of water, populated by ducks and geese.
On a wider scope, Saint-Paul-les-Dax is located in the Landes area, where pine trees forests are meeting the Atlantic Ocean.
Saint Paul les Dax is a Landes city of nearly 14,000 inhabitants that has inscribed at the heart of its project democracy, solidarity, the preservation of the environment and the enhancement of natural, tangible and intangible heritage. With a very rich associative fabric both in the sporting and cultural field or inscribed in the dynamics of solidarity, it strives to offer the volunteers of these associations a living environment likely to allow the best possible development of their actions. This is why the municipality called on Concordia to team up for the "Tempos du monde" festival.

This volunteer project aims to meet and exchange between volunteers and the local population through an international yet local festival. Animation and intercultural exchange actions will be coordinated by the youth service of the city.

Bring a sleeping bag, thick sleeping mat, work clothes, walking shoes for work, warm and rain clothes, a flashlight, a swimsuit and of course sunscreen! You can also bring traditional recipes from your home country/region, an instrument of music and games.
Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

Jongeren onder 18 jaar moeten voor vertrek verplicht een training volgen. De kosten hiervoor zijn € 50 euro en worden apart in rekening gebracht.
