There are several landscapes, buildings, wells, and other traditional constructions that identify this area. Until a few years ago, people have been living in harmony with the environment. These sites have great cultural significance and heritage, and could be the key to development in this region.
-Local garden work.
Cleaning paths of vegetation, design and fitting of an interpretative route through a village or using new ways of construction in concordance with the oldest conceptions, are some of the work to be done in these villages by volunteers.There will also be activities to enhance the ethnographic and cultural resources associated with a way of life that has survived until recent years in this area, which is at high risk of being lost.
Volunteers will sleep in Albergue La Cabañuela,From 28 to 2 September, with beds in dormitory rooms, showers and kitchen, washing machine, living room and a courtyard.It includes:
-Bedrooms provided with bed linen.
-Full kitchen with the necessary utensils for large groups (dishwasher tablets, hand dishwashing utensils, kitchen towels, garbage bags...).
NOT included:
-Towels ( would be rental towels as is normally done) y personal hygiene supplies (shower gel, shampoo...)
From 2 to 8 Sept in Albergue de El Manzano.
Food will be cooked by volunteers. Ingredients provided by camp.

Monleras is a small village of 270 inhabitants.
Like many other regions of the region of Castilla, are struggling against unstoppable depopulation and general decay of rural culture, plus ageing of its population.
The whole neighbourhood is committed to search alternatives for their common future.
El Manzano is a Spanish municipality and village in the province of Salamanca, in the autonomous community of Castilla y León.
According to the National Institute of Statistics, El Manzano had, as of January 1, 2021, a total population of 65 inhabitants, of which 34 were men and 31 were women.
Preservation of cultural and natural resources plays a very important role in all their planning, so there will be activities for enhancement of natural, ethnographic and cultural resources associated
