The work focuses decorating this tiny Andalusian town by mural art and by using the ceramics on the town’s walls. The projects aims to connect environmental and cultural awareness with art. The volunteers have to be very motivated and creative. Volunteers have to design the drawing all together in the first datas and after they have to make the mural with acrylics that will be provided by the local partner.
The accommodation will be done in the nursery house of the town. There will be beds, bathrooms and showers in the use of volunteers and also a kitchen where the volunteers can cook in teams with the ingredients provided by the camp leaders.
Normally there are 2 days off per week. You are free those days and have possibilities to plan a group trip to the mountains or to the nearest towns and cities. Campleader can help you with the organization and options.
Alcalá del Valle is mountainous town and one of the white villages of the Sierra de Cadiz and the region of the Serrania de Ronda in Cadiz, Andalusia. According to the 2006 census, the city has a population of 5,355. Volunteers will enjoy free entrance to the municipal swimming pool and entrance to the municipal sports facilities (gym, tennis, squash, paddle). Its popular architecture maintains a strong Moorish flavour, with its streets of white-washed houses and balconies overflowing with flowers.
Local partner is city hall of Alcalá del Valle. We collaborate with them the third year. Project is focused also to encourage integration of international volunteers interacting with the local environment, especially with the youngsters.
We are looking for volunteers who are familiar with art and have experience in drawing or painting. Please mention your art knowledge or experience in the motivation part of your application.

Jongeren onder 18 jaar moeten voor vertrek verplicht een training volgen. De kosten hiervoor zijn € 50 euro en worden apart in rekening gebracht.
Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van € 50.
