This project is organised in cooperation with the Caritas Centre in Sant Agata di Militello (ME), The Centre was established at the end of 2021 for providing assistance to people with economic difficulties and with different social backgrounds. It intervenes in different activities such as solidarity pharmacy, with a storage for food and clothes to donate to people living in the surrounding areas, and running a listening center. The Centre is Eu-rodesk Point for local young people and recently a piece of land was donated to them by the local church where a vegetable garden for common use will be planted during the spring. As members of the national network Eu-rodesk, The Caritas Centre and Associazione InformaGiovani would like to contribute in the empowerment of local Sicilian communities and offer young people an opportunity to be engaged at local level and meet interna-tional youngsters.
