Werenzhain is part of the town "Doberlug-Kirchhain" which is located in the south of the federal state Brandenburg. It is also part of the region "Lausitz" that extends to the region of the famous "Spreewald" and the city Dresden. Although the region around the Spreewald is far more famous, the Lausitz, too, has to offer many holiday-worthy activities.
For instance, there are numerous possibilities to enjoy water based sports. And besides that the Lausitz has a great network of bike paths along rivers and lakes. The place where the work camp is going to happen is the “Atelierhof Werenzhain“. It is part of the village Werenzhain and is culturally important because it brings together artists from many countries in the world who can portray their art or give workshops.
