You will take part to enhance the outside surrounding of Citrus, as more than hundred volunteers did before. The main work will be around the pedagogical garden: small masonry (benches and low walls), creation of shade, building of outside furniture, … Some “low-tech” technical work could be done in addition to this main task, such as solar dryer or a solar oven. At last, you’ll be in charge of the daily care of the garden: watering the plants, harvesting the fruits and vegetables, taking care of the henhouse and its three fabulous ladies.
From Monday to Friday, mornings will be dedicated to technical work (from 8 to 12am).
You will be sleeping in collective tents with floor and beds, of 6 to 8 persons, boys and girls separated, within the Citrus association. You will have access to solar showers and dry toilets. The organization has a collective kitchen where meals will be prepared. Menus and shopping will be organized collectively, by you and the rest of the group. Each day, you will be in small teams to cook for all the participants. Particular attention will be paid to seasonal foods from local producers.
There will be no access to Wi-Fi connection or to a washing machine during your stay.
Other groups (adults or teenagers) will be hosting in Citrus at the same time: collective life (meals, cleaning, and so on) will be shared all together.
At Citrus, in the village of Laguépie. It is 50km away from Montauban.

For more than ten years, teenagers, and adults from all around the world have come to build, renovate, imagine, and give shape to this great project. Up the hill of the village of Laguépie, Citrus organization is a place of sharing and gathering, where worldwide volunteers are building, stone after stone and years after years, an international hosting center. The organization Citrus gathers an office, a refectory, a kitchen, and is surrounded by green fields, a green theater, and a garden. Guided by the workcamp leaders, you will live in the heart of the organization and share the daily life with the whole team of Citrus, and other volunteers hosted here.

Jongeren onder 18 jaar moeten voor vertrek verplicht een training volgen. De kosten hiervoor zijn € 50 euro en worden apart in rekening gebracht.
Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van € 200.
