You will be working with the park services, participating in the maintenance and development of green spaces. You will work on the restoration of wooden observatories for the observation of wildlife in the area classified as a nature reserve. Although there will be no workcamp on the theatre site, performances every evening from Friday to Sunday and other local events will give you the opportunity to get involved.
You will be welcomed at the Gargouille theatre. You will sleep in tents, mattresses are provided. Outdoor showers and toilets will be installed for you. As well as chalets for preparing meals, with a kitchen where you can take turns preparing good dishes.
Bergerac, south of the Dordogne
Leisure activites: Swimming, canoeing, site visits, meeting with locals, circus and theatre workshops, etc.
The town of Bergerac invites you to discover the Dordogne at the heart of its international workcamp. Reflecting the multicultural aspect of a project of young volunteers, you will be surprised by the diversity of the actors of this project. The Pombonne park, a high-quality educational environmental centre, is a place very appreciated by Bergeracois (name of the inhabitants of Bergerac) and will be a privileged meeting place between residents and volunteers. A beautiful lake in the park will offer you afternoons by the water in or on the beach.
The La Gargouille theatre will host you on its lands. La Gargouille is looking forward to welcoming you on its place and to make you discover it. The international project is part of this approach to make this association a space of life and exchange for local inhabitants and people from around the world passing through the region.

Jongeren onder 18 jaar moeten voor vertrek verplicht een training volgen. De kosten hiervoor zijn € 50 euro en worden apart in rekening gebracht.
Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van € 200.
