You will be involved with the team in the development of the exterior and in part of the restoration of the former holiday camp. In particular, you will be involved in clearing the paths and passages around the building (cleaning, clearing brush and cutting). You will also carry out minor masonry work. You will work 25 hours per week.
The workcamp will take place in a particularly isolated area, where you will be accommodated on the REV site in individual tents. Please bring your sleeping bag. You will have access to sanitary facilities near the camp. If the weather conditions are too bad to camp, a shelter will be available a few meters away. Meals will be provided and prepared in turn by the participants.
Pont-de-Montvert, very close to the Mont Lozère, in the Cévennes, at an altitude of 1500m.
As the workcamp will be held in a protected area, the majority of leisure activities will consist of discovering the surrounding nature (fauna and flora), but also the discovery of the culinary heritage. Transport will also be provided to organise discovery outings and leisure activities.
The workcamp will take place at the permanent home of the REV, a former holiday camp at an altitude of 1500m. This site is located at the foot of Mont Lozère in the heart of the Cévennes. The REV took over the site last spring and wants it to become a place of hospitality, exchange and meeting. It is ideally situated on the Stevenson trail (GR70). The project therefore aims to develop the exterior so that visitors can find a pleasant place to meet international volunteers, work camp volunteers, etc.
Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van € 200.
