You will participate in the organisation of the local life, notably through your participation in the organisation of the festivities. You will then take part in the organisation of concerts, as well as in community life. You will be in charge of loading the instruments and setting up the stages with a supervisor. You will work on average between 5 and 6 hours a day in the morning.
You will be welcomed at the Maison des Bateleurs where you will sleep in tents from 26 to 27 July and from 12 to 14 August. From 28 July to 12 August, you will sleep in the boarding school of the Lycée de Pons.
At the Maison des Bateleurs, meals are prepared in turn by the volunteers. At the boarding school, breakfasts will be taken together with the volunteers and musicians. Lunches will be prepared by the boarding school cook and dinners will be self-catered.
Pons (17800), between Saintes and Jonzac, 100km from Bordeaux and 90km from La Rochelle.
Leisure activities: At the crossroads of some pretty little villages in the Charente, you can take full advantage of the local heritage. Visits in the region will be organised collectively according to your wishes, for example the château des énigmes, the domaine de birius etc. You will be able to discover towns in the area such as Cognac, Saintes or perhaps La Rochelle! You will be able to meet the inhabitants thanks to the leisure time and the local activities.
Eurochestries is a travelling classical music festival. For many years the festival has welcomed international musicians. The two main objectives of this event are to bring together young people from different countries aged 15 to 25 through music and to make classical music accessible to all.
It’s an artistic event of contemporary, source of development and dynamism, which contributes to the cultural development of this region. The international workcamp, at the heart of the festival, brings a rich intercultural dimension in artistic and intergenerational exchanges.

Jongeren onder 18 jaar moeten voor vertrek verplicht een training volgen. De kosten hiervoor zijn € 50 euro en worden apart in rekening gebracht.
