This year, you will continue the restoration of the lodge through masonry, carpentry, (making small equipment) and landscaping. You will be taught traditional masonry, painting, and woodworking techniques. These activities will be carried out under the guidance of the association's experienced volunteer technical supervisors. You will work around 5 and 6 hours a day in the morning.
Collective, in a yurt or in tents, in the lodge's meadow! Food will be provided, and meals will be prepared in the newly refurbished kitchen by you in turn, as a team.

Leisure activities: Excursions in the region and activities with local people will be organised in order to experience a time of intercultural exchange. You will have the opportunity to visit the Marais Poitevin and art exhibitions, to go to concerts, festivals, the swimming pool, the museum, but also to go to the ocean, La Rochelle, Poitiers, Niort, etc.
At the bottom of a valley, between sky and forest, the Rochard lodge is a real « end of the world ». In this natural setting at 70 km from the Atlantic Ocean between Nantes and Bordeaux, an old farm has been transformed into a rustic lodge by an association which welcomes groups of children, hikers, and campers under a yurt. The Rochard lodge, an international centre, has welcomed over 70 different nationalities. This place, in the middle of nature, encourages respect for the environment and a sustainable development approach.

Jongeren onder 18 jaar moeten voor vertrek verplicht een training volgen. De kosten hiervoor zijn € 50 euro en worden apart in rekening gebracht.
