The activities will mainly focus on the garden, planting, watering and picking while the volunteers
will also have a chance to participate in the food donations and visits. Its truly heartwarming work. Helping with work in the garden (cleaning weeds and vegetation, arranging lawns, planting seedlings of various fruit and vegetable crops), where they will have the opportunity to learn about agrotechnical measures, about organic production and its importance in the nutrition of children with malignancy, creating and installing shelters for wild animals, as well as feeders for roe deer, stocking and cleaning the lake where they will learn more about the fish species that are released into the lake.
On the property there is a house in which there is a bathroom with a shower cabin and a wet toilet that everyone can use. Volunteers will be accommodated in nature in tents with inflatable mattresses. Food will be prepared by volunteers together with the host.
Kamenica is a village in the municipality of Valjevo, Serbia. The village of Valjevska Kamenica was known as one of the largest cooperatives in Serbia and the region. Today, Kamenica is known for the Petrovdan Fair, which has a rich cultural and artistic program.
Association "Garden can do anything" has been founded in order to make the lives of children with
cancer easier. They have an enormous garden where they grow vegetables to give to the houses
where children stay during their treatments near the hospitals. The association grows organic fruits and vegetables on half a hectare of land, which we deliver completely free of charge to children staying in the parents' homes of the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer.
Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS) was founded in 1976. Our main aims are environmental protection and education, promotion of sustainable development, work with young people in an international context, promotion of scientific creativity and voluntarism and its values. Voluntary Service of Serbia is a volunteer exchange service center founded in 1990 as one of the sectors of YRS.

Jongeren onder 18 jaar moeten voor vertrek verplicht een training volgen. De kosten hiervoor zijn € 50 euro en worden apart in rekening gebracht.
