For two weeks, you’ll dive into the vibrant world of the festival through a variety of tasks: providing logistical support before and after the event, welcoming artists on the alternative stage, leading Citizen Days open to the public, managing waste and dry toilets, assisting people with disabilities, and supporting festival-goers' well-being and safety. The pace will be fast, especially during the three core days of the festival (July 25–27).
In addition to working alongside your fellow European volunteers, you'll also be part of a larger community of nearly 500 festival volunteers, sharing moments of solidarity, fun, and connection. Whether you're a total beginner or experienced with hands-on work, you'll learn to handle equipment and collaborate as a team. And after all the hard work? It’s time to explore the area, make new friends, and soak in the unique energy of festival preparations!

Throughout the project, you’ll be staying in a camping place reserved for the Concordia volunteer group. Individual tents will be provided, but make sure to bring your own sleeping bag and a sleeping pad or inflatable mattress for added comfort. Dry toilets and showers will also be available on site.
Community life will be centered around a shared space where the group can gather to relax, chat, and spend quality time together. Meals will be cooked and enjoyed as a group—either prepared by you or other festival volunteers.

Gignac is a small village of about 600 residents, located in the Lot department in the Occitanie region of southern France. Nestled near the Regional Natural Park of the Causses du Quercy, it boasts an exceptional natural and architectural heritage. Depending on the group’s interests and possibilities, hikes may be organized along the local trails.
The region is also home to some iconic landmarks such as Rocamadour, Gouffre de Padirac and several villages ranked among the most beautiful in France. In addition to outdoor adventures, you’ll also get a taste of the rich local culture through its gastronomy and street markets.

Each summer, this small village in the Lot region transforms into a vibrant crossroads of contemporary music, where French chanson, reggae, electro, rap, and rock come together in a festive and multicultural atmosphere. Ecaussystème is officially recognized as a Socially Useful Solidarity Enterprise (ESUS), led by a nonprofit organization and powered entirely by volunteers. The festival promotes culture in rural areas, supports emerging artists, and energizes the local community through a circular and inclusive economy. It’s all about celebrating in a different way—more inclusive, more human, and more environmentally conscious.

Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise on the project, volunteers will have to pay for them, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.
This project is supported by the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program for young people between 18 and 30. It is open to all volunteers that fit the ESC criteria.
The participation to ESC volunteering teams is subjected to several principles and conditions, presented on the ESC webpage: https://europa.eu/youth/solidarity/mission_en
- Volunteers do not have to pay any fee (neither sending, nor participation fee) to attend the project and will receive financial support for their travel, according to a maximum amount established depending on their travel distance and upon the presentation of original tickets;
- Volunteers need to enrol in the PASS, the ESC Portal; then Concordia France will organise their matching, on the online system, with the volunteering project;
- Volunteers will receive pocket money, calculated on the basis of 8€/day, once they arrive at the project in France;
- Volunteers will have to complete a participation report, submitted online through the portal.
