Take part in the Silhouette film festival, the biggest short film festival in Paris!
The Silhouette Festival is organized every year for over 20 years in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. This year, the focus is on cultural accessibility and disability awareness.
The first three days of your stay will be devoted to a training on the theme of “Disability and Cinema”. This course will enable you to explore the representation of disability in cinema, and raise your awareness of the issues surrounding accessibility.
On the following days, you'll be fully immersed in the festival, mostly carrying out logistics and catering tasks ; you will also contribute to the implementation of cultural accessibility measures and the organization of awareness-raising workshops on cultural disability : running games on youth cinema techniques for children, manning a stand at the festival's accessibility evening, creating educational tool (quiz about accessibility) You'll also produce a vlog about the volunteers at the festival.

You will be housed in part of Concordia's headquarters in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. The place will be specially converted into 2 non-mixed dormitories on the lower floor. Mattresses will be placed on the floor, and sleeping bags will be provided. Remember to bring pillowcases. There's a small kitchen and a room just for you upstairs. Breakfasts will be taken on site, and you'll take it in turns to cook your own lunches. A budget will be allocated to the coordinators, and you'll help with shopping, food recovery and meal preparation. As far as possible, we will promote vegetarian meals, using healthy, local and seasonal produce, while respecting the dietary requirements of all participants and allowing them to discover local gastronomy.
Dinners will be catered directly at the festival site.

The festival takes place in the Butte du Château Rouge park in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. The accommodation is located in the 17ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, which combines urban dynamism and large green spaces with the Parc Martin Luther King park.
This workcamp is designed to raise awareness on art and accessibility. To enrich your experience, we've planned a program of leisure activities to help you discover the city from this angle. You'll visit emblematic sites such as the “Les Souffleurs de sens” cultural center, showcasing venues designed for people with disabilities. You'll also discover some of Paris's best-known film locations, visit the “Ateliers des Artistes en Exil” (a cultural space that runs inclusive workshops and artistic projects created by and for disabled people and refugee artists), the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, and much more.

Our partner is the Silhouette association, which is dedicated to image education, and has been organizing this festival every year since 2002, attracting ever-increasing audiences and becoming a not-to-be-missed event in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. Since 2018, the association has also been committed to developing inclusive features to make its festival more accessible to people with disabilities, particularly hearing disability. In 2024, one of the festival's evenings was fully accessible, with a signed concert, a screening subtitled in VSM (Version Sourds et Malentendants) and adapted activities. Concordia has been a partner of the festival since 2015, and is delighted to renew this collaboration.
