- Creation of a script of a theater play for performance. The first part of the camp will consist of a communication workshop in English and Spanish. Volunteers will enhance their creativity and leadership skills.
- Design and application of makeup and costumes for the play performance.
- Volunteers will create a performance, combining music, dance, theater and plastic arts.
- Organization of several performances in various mountain villages: stage, materials, costumes, etc.
- After the performance, the volunteers will carry out dynamization workshops with children of the mountain villages: face painting, demonstration of musical instruments and dances, care of donkeys.

This volunteer camp will be held in Lozoyuela-Navas-Sieteiglesias, a municipality located in the Sierra Norte mountains, in Madrid region.
In the volunteer camp, not everything is work, and you will have the opportunity to enjoy leisure and free time activities:
- Environmental workshops: recycling, environmental pollution
- Excursions to municipalities with tourist attractions: Buitrago de Lozoya, Rascafría
- Canoeing. Hiking in Peñalara.
- Swimming in natural pools
- Excursion to Madrid: Prado Museum, tour of the historic center.

Come to our camp if you feel that…
You are a true lover of the performing arts and you would like theater to be a driver for the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development. This is your volunteering, since you will have the opportunity to play a piece of theater with other young people from different countries, promoting creativity and dynamization of mountain villages.
Some reasons to participate in our camp
The Donkey Caravan camp will consist of preparing the performance of a 40-minute street theater play with didactic content. Theater is the vehicle for addressing environmental issues. The play will be created by the volunteers themselves, combining dance and music. The Donkey Caravan is aimed at children from 10 to 14 years old, and seeks to value biodiversity and the rural world, using the donkey as a symbol of this communion.
During 15 days, you will enjoy very special holidays, and will meet people from other regions and countries.

day at the volunteer camp (Schedule)
In general, the technical tasks of the camp will be carried out in the morning, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In the afternoon there will be leisure and free time activities: swimming pool, workshops, sports, etc.
Generic Schedule:
- 08:00 – Good morning
- 08:30 – Breakfast
- 09:00 – Technical work
- 11:00 – Half hour break to eat a snack
- 11:30 – 13:30: Technical work and collecting materials
- 14:00 – Lunch
- 15:00 – Rest break
- 17:00 – Leisure and free time activities
- 20:30 – Dinner
- 21:30 – Night activities
- 23:45 – Good night
Things to Bring
Outerwear and rainwear, swimsuit, mosquito repellent, a torch, towel and cleaning supplies.
Comfortable sports clothing and footwear, short-sleeve and long-sleeve T-shirts, swimsuit, shorts, a cap, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, towel and cleaning supplies. Participants must bring a sleeping bag.
Insurance
The managing entity of the volunteer camp has civil liability and accident insurance.
