This year starts a residential proposal for teens between the ages of 14 and 17 to develope their knowledge and usage of the English language in a concrete and fun way.
The camp will take place at Casa IBO, the national headquarter of the associazione IBO Italia in Ferrara, which is working in the field of youth volunteering and international cooperation since 1957. IBO Italia is part of the european IBO network and a member of the network Alliance, with whom it shares the exchange of short- term volunteering projects all over the world.
The experience will be an all-round training to give a group of young Italian teens the possibility to live a group experience, in which they will they will take care of the common spaces from cleaning together to preparing their own meals. The goal is to develope and reinforce the English skills in a dynamic and fun way, looking ahead to later international experiences abroad, but without leaving out the relational aspect and the develpoement of autonomy of the teens. During the camp 15 hours of frontal lesson will be realised by a teacher and during the whole experience the participants will be stimulated to communicate between them using English.
