The volunteers will be hosted in the host structure. They will be divided into shared rooms with single beds for 2 to 3 people. The house is NOT EQUIPPED WITH INTERNET. A free wifi connection is available in the nearby market area. Volunteers will share the kitchen and support the preparation of meals.

During the free day, volunteers can organise (at their own expenses) trips to Arezzo (12 km), Siena (50 km), Firenze (60 km)

The Laterina community, one of the longest standing of the Emmaus movement with more than 50 years of existence, opens its doors to welcome volunteers/campers who want to live a unique experience within our community of life. We would like to pass on that civic passion that serves to mature those critical tools capable of provoking a change of reality in the direction of ecological justice and peace among peoples.If you want to engage in all fronts of solidarity, if you don t want to turn your back on the great social and environmental challenges of our time, then an Emmaus volunteer experience is what you are looking for.

Since people with addiction problems may be present in the community, it is forbidden to introduce and/or consume alcohol and/or other types of substances. Volunteers are required to have an interest in the Emmaus themes of social inclusion, non-violence, and commitment to international solidarity.For safety reasons, the wearing of safety shoes, is mandatory during work activities. If you haven t them we will provide them for the duration of the camp.

Het inschrijfgeld voor dit project bedraagt € 345, exclusief € 50 korting voor studenten en jongeren onder de 18.
